Charming hacienda in banana country
The historic charm of the hotel, surrounded by lush banana plantations, was captivating. The spacious junior suite offered stunning views and excellent breakfast options that exceeded my expectations.
The lack of on-site dining during the day made it inconvenient, as guests had to travel to find meals. There were also minor maintenance issues noticed in the bathroom facilities.

The property exudes a beautiful rustic charm, with unique rooms that boast high ceilings and characterful antique furnishings. Relaxing by the secluded pool was a highlight, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. the junior suite had its drawbacks, including a dated bathroom with maintenance issues and some cleanliness oversights, which impacted the overall experience. Breakfast was a delight, featuring a good range of options, but a lack of on-site dining during the day made meal planning somewhat inconvenient.

The atmosphere is quite charming, with a unique rustic vibe that makes it feel like a hidden gem. The breakfast options are plentiful, and the outdoor pool is a decent spot to unwind after a day of exploration.
The rooms—like double room 4—are on the smaller and darker side, lacking good ventilation or light. Several details need fixing, like the small shower holder, cracked bathroom sink, and inconsistent water temperature in the taps. there are cobwebs and dust in some areas, and mismatched light bulbs detract from the ambiance. While parking can be tricky in nearby Las Palmas, the layout also makes getting into the town on foot a bit of a challenge without proper pathways.
